2008 Residential Tree Program

Many of our past customers have asked if we are having the Plant Some Shade Program this year.  We are having the Plant Some Shade Program later in the summer with distribution of the trees in the second week of September.

We anticipate the trees will be $25 each again this year.  The species of trees offered wll be decided by the DNR, which will include a couple shade trees, an evergreen, and an ornamental tree. 

Plant Some Shade is a partnership initiative to aid long-term energy and natural resource conservation in Iowa.  Locally, it is sponsored by the Iowa DNR, Mid American Energy and Sioux Rivers RC&D.
